Evidence
The workleaves evidence.
Products become real through decisions, prototypes, specifications, production information and finished objects. This is where that work can be shown — as the things themselves, not as claims about them.
Current state
Nothing here yet.
Phoenix Rising has not published a project on this site. That is a statement about what has been cleared for publication, not about what has been built — client work carries confidentiality, and photography, drawings and outcomes need permission before they can be shown.
The standard
A project appears here when it can show at least one real thing — a photograph, a drawing, a sample, a documented decision — with a named source. Illustrative material is labelled as such and never counted as evidence.
The alternative was four placeholder case studies with invented narratives and generated imagery standing in for photographs. Those were here until this phase and have been removed. A portfolio that cannot be checked is worth less than an empty one that can.
What a project can show
Five kindsof evidence.
A project is published against these, not against a narrative. Every item names where it came from, and anything illustrative says so on its face.
01
Development
How the product was decided — the part that is usually invisible afterwards.
- The problem or brief
- Requirements
- Design iterations
- Decisions made
- Questions answered
- Changes between versions
02
Prototype
What was built to answer a question, and what the answer turned out to be.
- Prototype photography
- Prototype progression
- What each one was built to test
- Material studies
- Test results against stated criteria
03
Manufacturing
What it took to make the same thing again, to the same standard.
- Manufacturing considerations
- Production information
- Tooling evidence
- Production samples
- Assembly information
- Quality criteria
- Packaging requirements
04
Product
The object itself, at whatever stage of reality it reached.
- Final product photography
- CAD and technical drawings
- Exploded views
- Components
- Packaging
05
Outcome
What changed, what was learned, and what actually reached production.
- What changed
- What was learned
- What was delivered
- What reached production

Your project is the one that matters
Evidence of someone else’s product tells you what a company has done, not what it would do with yours. The more useful question is where yours has reached.
Any stage.Let's build it.
Whether you have an idea, a prototype or a product ready for production, the right starting point depends on where your project is today. Tell us where you are.
